Dump Dinner Chicken and Rice
For a simple dinner during the week, just put everything in the slow cooker and let it do the work. This chicken and rice dish is filling, comforting, and doesn't take much work to make.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup long-grain white rice
- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 can 10
- 5 ounces condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Put chicken broth, diced chicken, frozen vegetables, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a slow cooker
Add the rice and stir it around
Mix things together well
Put the lid on top and set the heat to low
Cook for 4 to 6 hours, or until the rice is soft and the chicken is crispy
Mix it up before you serve
